I am who I am

Nothing more, nothing less

I grew up with a harsh life

Wishing everyday, for God to take my life

To free me from this wretched world

To save my soul, and take me home

But one day I got help

I found people who were generous and kind

They saved my life, and then I was fine

From then on I was a new girl

I opened my eyes to the beautiful world

And today those people who helped

Have helped save me and make me a better person in this world

Today I dance and sing with glee

I have friends who are always beside me

I have a loving family who cares for me

And I spend my time studying and helping those in need

Due to my life and it's bumpy roads

I have become who I am today
