I Am So Tired Of Love Poems

I am so tired of love poems
The constant self-ridicule
The sorry's and proclamations of passion
I call it desperation

We're all guilty of writing them
Yet we pour out our hypocrisy onto tear-stained pages
We describe what once was over and over again
Until our readers get bored

I am so tired of writing love poems
The words this guy will probably never read
The complaints this guy doesn't want to hear
I call that pointless

We're all wasting our time writing them
When we could be working on ourselves
Giving each other some self confidence
Because our ex-lovers don't care

That's true!

I humbly agree, however I think they are great practice on being personal with our poetry.
