i am safe.

i will travel the distance, away from home

to the enormous cathedral built out of stone.

walls painted like a sky, citrus in the air,

this castle is kept by a maiden, oh so fair!

a castle not shown -

castle, and unless you count books, there is no throne.

i run my fingers across the spines of books,

this palace is filled with happiness, every nook.

a kingdom of hidden treasures, painted clouds

the atmosphere is best when the maiden is proud.

a castle not shown -

castle, and unless you count books, there is no throne.

this is a place where i write out my desires,

a place i can go without having to pull the wires.

here i can write because my pen does not stutter,

almost like home, i won't even mind all the clutter.

a castle not shown -

castle, and unless you count books, there is no throne.

the pleasures of this palace bring me some hope,

i will no longer feel like i am on a tightrope.

with the people of this palace i will roam,

to the cathedral of stone, i will be home.

a castle not shown -

castle, and unless you count books, there is no throne.

often i wonder, who will be the true heir?

i hope it stays peaceful, for this is my prayer.

with the people of this palace i will roam,

to the cathedral of stone, i am home, i’m home.

a castle not shown -

castle, and unless you count books, there is no throne.
