I Am The Personification Of Time

I was here before the universe was formed

Total darkness surrounded me

And then there were celestial lights

When no life form existed, I was here

I am not what you think I am

You wonder about my endless existence,

But you will never understand me

I am the most mysterious entity

No one can ever estimate my age,

Neither can anyone outlive me

I have seen the birth of generations

And I have seen the death of generations

Everything came into existence after me

And I will still be here after everything is gone

I am the past, the present, and the future

Time is my name; I wait for no one

I am the personification of time

Nothing can stop me from going on

I have no beginning and I have no end

There is no one like me; I am everlasting time

This poem is about:
Our world
