I Am Me

I am not ugly,

Nor am I beautiful.

I have potential,

Just like you.

I am not fat,

nor am I skinny.

I am not useless,

Even though I think I am.

I was called names,

They were drilled into my head.

I know they don't matter,

But they seem to stab.

I shouldn't care,

And I don't.

I am sensitive,

But can take bruises.

I am weird,

Only in the insane way.

I am confused,

But only about myself.

I am stupid,

But in advanced courses.

I am privileged to use words,

I have no right to use them certain way.

I am so flawed

It makes me flawless.

I am an artist,

I am me.
