I Am Interdisciplinary

Why should I become disciplinary?
When all of the information I learned,
To be like a milkshake, a fused product.
Against specializing, I am impelled.

My brain is a sponge out of the ocean.
So hungry and static: it is dried up.
Data, present, riddled with demotion,
A hint: pigeonhole knowledge in a cup.

Despite it all, I am adaptable,
The skilled master of connecting subjects,
The wise persona who is flexible,
A library, database that collects.

Enhancing my college studies I am,
Because I'm interdisciplinary.
