I Am... the Harsh Seasons

Mon, 09/14/2015 - 00:39 -- Sara010

Fall leaves blow in the wind
My body begins to cringe
Flowers die
Animals run and hide,

Snow flakes collide with the ground
Kids mess around
Rodes turn to ice
Winter wasn't so nice,

Sun appears out the sky
As we turn to say goodbye
Seasons are a way of life
As we live through strife,

Young like a fall morning
Scared like a winter warning
Needed like the sunshine
We all come around sometime,

Forever changing seasons
I learn for many reasons
Wild and uncontrollable
The season will make me inconsolable
