I Am Drowning

Fri, 03/04/2016 - 09:38 -- Caivii

I am drowning

while you’re on a boat

It’s all smooth sailing

but I can’t stay afloat

I have gone under

You laugh at me,

“There’s no greater kindness

than fighting the sea!”

Except I’m not fighting

I’m losing the air

The bubbles rush past

And you just sit there

“C’mon,” you shout

“I had to learn how to swim!”

You just won’t help me

and it’s looking grim

There’s a life float beside you

“Please, throw it to me!”

You laugh and ignore it,

“Just fight the sea!”
