I Am A Dark-Roast Coffee Bean
I am one in many,
My flavor is familiar,
Yet not liked by many,
Bitter
I am ground to the core,
For other people's pleasure,
Mix me with sugar,
I am everyone's treasure
I am dark and so quiet,
Among many just like me,
But we are softened with milk,
Until we are no longer we
I am transformed into something new,
Something more people will drink,
When I wish more would appreciate,
The taste that I bring
I am one, but I am strong,
And one day I will be gone,
But there will be more just like me,
A Dark-Roast Coffee Bean
