I am

Location

I’m over.

I’m done.

The pain has been long gone.

Why does it return?

With every little problem.

It’s not my fault,

That some don’t know,

What’s behind my mirror.

It scrapes out

When others pull for it.

When I try to smile,

Return is nothing.

A treaty is not a treaty,

If someone makes an attack.

I’m tired of hiding in my bunker.

I’m tired of fighting.

All I can do is walk away

On the war lines,

With nothing but a wound.

Whether it be fatal,

Whether I have to crawl,

I will not give in to this pain.

I am the soldier.

I am hope.

I am but a light,

In a shadow of the world.

The world of hate.
