I Am

Location

I am the sparkle on the new fallen snow,

I am the glittering snowflakes falling gracefully to the ground,

I am the icy cave sheltering the hibernating black bear,

I am the glistening pine trees covered with snow,

Do not cry, I am not dead, I am alive.

I am the bright, shining sun slowly melting the last bit of snow,

I am the colorful flowers just beginning to grow,

I am the brown buds just beginning to grow on the tall oak trees,

I am the gentle wind gracefully moving the grass back and forth

Do not cry, I am not dead, I am alive.

I am the warm sand between your toes as you walk on the beach,

I am the blazing sun warming the water as you swim,

I am the bright, colorful kites gliding gracefully high above your head,

I am the cool waves breaking onto the shore as you walk by the waters edge,

Do not cry, I am not dead, I am alive.

I am the crisp leaves falling gently to the ground,

I am the cool wind gracefully blowing the leaves across the grass,

I am the gentle whisper of the wind passing by your ear,

I am the last leaf falling softly to the ground,

Do not cry, I am not dead, I am alive, in your heart.
