I am...

I am labeled, yet not defined

I am not perfect, but once a week, my page is refined

I am kind,

More like the kind who’ll outline the path of peace over a landmine.

I am one who believes without seeing

Not someone naïve

But I am one who believes that chances should be given

For the purpose of gaining experience, even a liar is worth believing.

I am someone bound, who’s also bound to be free

I am Desmond, even though that’s a name compiled of letters, that’ve been around for centuries

Nothing special, I am just another me of what I used to be 17 years, no, 10 minutes ago

I am open, but there’s much more to me than I know that has yet to show

I am cliché, nothing you haven’t seen

I am Desmond the blueprint, actually, no; I am me.
