I’d Walk a Thousand Miles

I worship the ground on which you walk

Hang onto to every word when you talk

You are my idol in so many ways

I never weary of giving you praise.

I’d walk a thousand miles to be by your side

Arriving wet and soiled I’d swallow my pride

I’d climb the highest mountain to reach your house

Then only words of love I’d espouse

No storm on land or sea

Would keep me away from thee

Oh, one more thing I need to say

If it’s raining, I won’t be over today
