The Hypocrisy of the world is based on what we do and tell.
I shoot a man, and say killing is wrong.
I stab a man, and say hurting others is wrong.
But I will save a man, and tell others I’m not a hero.
I look at the world and say I see evil. I look in the mirror and say I see a saint.
I am no better than liars and hypocrites.
I am no better than those who kill for money and power.
I see a world full of hate and pain.
A world of no justification and no truth to tell.
I sit on my high pedestal where no man can reach me,
But god can judge me.
I sit on my high pedestal where no one can see me, but the angels and demons can influence me.
I sit on my high pedestal and wonder, when did I become this way? When was I influenced by others? Changed by the world around me? When did I become human?
