Hurricane

Location

The only thing she's held accountable for

is the heart she's mended

then broke,

the smile she shared

then wiped off,

the love she swore you got to keep

then took away,

the promise she gave you of forever,

then left.

She was a hurricane

whipped up in my heart

and  i'm drowning

and no buoys or lifeboats

can save me

from the waves she expedited

but she's worth drowning for

as long as i'm drowning

in an ocean of her.
