Hurricane

Location

Audubon
304 South Park Avenue
United States

The words poured from her fingertips like wine from a bottle

The words flowed from her mouth like air through an instrument

In the face of her adversaries, she fought her wars with words as weapons

Empathy as her ammunition

She had a strong will and even stronger opinions

Some people say she’s “not like other girls”

But that’s not true

She’s exactly like other girls and that’s okay

Because girls are forests that will regenerate no matter how many times they are devastated

They are the individual rain drops that you feel hitting your exposed skin

And that rain grows up to be a roaring hurricane that blows through a town leaving an impact on everything
