Hurricane

I am cold, stubborn, and reckless.

I am sad, skinny, and wild.

I am timid, honest, and loud.

I am forgetful, ignorant, and tired.

I have failed at being a daughter.

I cannot offer you my friendship because I will let you down.

Do not put your heart in my hands, I am a clumsy lover; I will drop it over and over again.

My grades will make every teacher frown.

Stay away from my smile, and remember not to look me in the eyes.

I am a rotten apple disguised as paradise.

I will let you go every time you are about to drown.

Do not rely on me.

Do not love me.

Do not hug me.

Glance in my direction,

neglect me your affection,

and walk away from this hurricane.
