Hunted

I run under canopies!

Somebody help me please!

For the beast is upon me!

Footsteps cacaphonus,

A growl downright monterous!

I run in hopes of in hopes of being home free,

But the beast is closing in on me!

I turn just once to see…

The beast has left me?

My pace slows to a crawl,

and I hear her drawl.

Granny!

But something is not right,

as I look upon her in the light!

“My what big teeth you have…”

In that second,

I hear her beckon.

“Closer”

I give her my ear,

And she raps my rear!

“Why didn’t you transform too, dear?!”
