Hunger for righteousness

Psalm 37:3-4

3 Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart
.

 Hunger

Hunger for righteousness is a gift

that depends totally on God

Spiritual food for spiritual man

is the desire to do His Will

Losing self for others

obedience to His Name

is the greatest gift of all

as one with the Spirit is filled

Remember my dear brothers,

that as you bear the cross

the power of the Spirit fills

the strength of your needs

The flesh rules by its own energy

but the Spirit by God’s Love

there is no way can you lose again

being in God’s true family

God’s Spirit being Holy

cannot be contained

He surely needs an outlet

to flow freely to the ocean

Hindrances are many

obstacles along the way,

like sin, pride, and coldness

and self on the soul's reliance
