HUMBLE STREET

They say destiny is written

when you’re born in Humble st.

That there’s nothing you could do

or worst than it.

They’re the ones who should be regretful though.

Happiness is lost for them.

Living like a Zombie is not a real life

I must confess.

Don’t you remember when you play tag?

Have you forgotten what hide and seek is?

If so, I can remind you,

You didn’t need a screen.

In the same famous street,

sons and daughters hear the call of mom.

And after the dinner is served,

they enjoy family time.

They set aside chairs for manner, comprehension, and advice.

And even when there’s not enough space nor food,

Love is the habitué that looks with sweet eyes.

Now accept my counsel: Eat, jump, play, run, take joy in life.

Don’t think so much about the money.

Being poor is not a crime.

Don’t think so much about your worries.

Being patient is sublime.

Don’t think so much about technology.

Remember, nature is meant to be admired.
