Human Outlook

Everyone wants to be different

But we still remain the same.

Claiming things we will never do;

This is what I would change.

If we actually contributed,

If we actually helped,

Maybe we would leave something meaningful.

Maybe no one would be able to tell.

But at least we could say we tried.

Rather than drowning forever in our lies:

"My town is so hateful" and "I can't wait to leave".

We never see ourselves in each others eyes.

A positive attitude can go a long way.

The complaining and the whining must end so we may seize the day.

Carpe diem: seize the day;

Take it into your own hands.

Make life what you want it to be

And others will understand.
