Human Heart

This is me, who you see

The mask I wear, the burden I bear

The deceit that hides behind my lies

The pain that shows within my eyes

The tears that swell within my heart

I don't want us to be apart

My true guile you'll never know

Only this mask I ever do show

If pain and tears you have known

And not once have ever shown

If heartfelt broken you have been

And never once a tear has shed

Then maybe once may you see

This creature that I call "me"
