Human

You say they're different,

But they are only human

You say they are sinners,

But they are only human

They are who we are;

Human

Don't judge what you don't know

Don't assume just because they're different than the 'norm'

What is the norm?

A lie to say you must be a certain way,

you must live up to certain standards,

be someone who you are not?

You don't know a thing

The struggle,

The pain,

The fear...

Pushed down and pushed away

Because they aren't like you

But,

they are only human

So what if they like those of their own team?

So what if they speak, act, look, are different?

It's who they are

It's who we are

Human

Isn't that all we try to be?
