How Music Told us About Life

Music, Oh music

You’ve taught me so much in my time

You taught what happiness was

But, you also told us what sadness was

You taught us about love

then told us what happens when we hate

You song stories of wealth

But, then you sang tales of poverty

You taught us to give

Then told us of those who never give

You wrote tales of triumphs

Then babbled about letters of failure

You’ve written stories of those who had it all

Then continued to write of how greed destroyed them

All of this was taught by you music

We don’t know how you do it

But you always find a way to help and teach us

Thank you music

We don’t know where we would be without you
