A chance encounter

at a late night hour

lit up a path for me.

This may sound funny

but listen honey

 This showed me my dreams you know.

What was once a hobby

  morphed into  dream

A goal for me to fly up to.

A career to persue

A new language to learn

and a path I can call my own.

Now the question of                  " What do you want to be?"

I can answer with glee

and                                                        confidence,

 because                                               I am sure

Anime was a precursor

 For a                                                     passion

I can call a                                              career.

A second languague to speak

New people to meet

More cultures to learn of

And another goal to reach

Who knew that

a chance encounter

with one late night Anime

could lead to so much more.
