HOW DO I TELL MY PARENTS I LIKE GUYS AND GURLS.

Beautiful girl, dancing in circles.

Handsome boy, wading through the crowd.

Their eyes meant, drums begin to beat,

As they are lifted, off their feet!

For it’s zeal, passion, and desire,

Hope, promise, some inner fire!

Music and life coincide,

And all can recognize,

The sight of true love.

The drums slow down to a pulse,

Love is a blessing, or for some curse!

It’s time for the boys guitar solo, his heart aflame!

The melody of his song makes her heart feel the same.

Then, days later, girl gets shot for her pocket change.

She lies on the street, her last thought is of him,

Before the street lamp light grows dim.

Unnecessary love, unnecessary doubt,

Something most people, claim to know everything about.

They claim they know love, they claim they know you,

But most of these things, are nowhere near true.

Good blood, bad blood, my blood, your blood,

All of it spilled all over the street,

And most of us hear nothing,

‘cept the tapping of feet...

And no one can think, to pull them to their feet,

All they ever do is pull out a camera and blink.

Nothing to do with fear, just sharks in the water,

Searching for that big click, wanna go higher, farther.

Trying for a video that’ll get aired on the news,

It’s like these people's pain is only good for being used.

So destructive, is human nature,

That it’s a scary world to grow up in,

And be the bigger man, is like being the fool,

Getting clowned by everyone around, played like a tool.

Everyone wants to fight, expects it at this point.

Are humans evil? Not sure…

But we’re destroying the world...

So let’s give total annihilation a whirl.
