She is a cycle she doesn't understand.
A whirlwind that sweeps you away without asking, a vacuum you never want to be free from.
She engulfs you in her light when she's laughing, yet she's blind to her own brilliance.
A teacher, a friend, a sister she's more than you bargain for; for some too much to handle.
She is a hurricane in her natural habitat.
Claiming she wrecks every place she enters she has never been so simpleminded.
She builds up those who have relinquished their titles for the word broken, by placing them in the path of life.
A mentor, a mother, a conductor she is the energy that binds the good to the bad, saying nothing but showing you everything.
There has never been enough-
More time, More words, I'm constantly left searching.
-and yet she has given me everything.
She is my rock and my revolution all at once.
How am I supposed to thank you properly?
For being my mirror when I can't find myself.
For being my diety when my faith is shaken.
Everything I've done, I've done to reflect you.
She is the woman who gives me a reason to write,
Sing, and dance on tables.
My pride and joy, my other half, my soulmate.
Do you know how much I love you?
Seven years and I'm still searching.
Trying to find some way to match you, to tell you,
to show you how truly thankful I am.
There will never be enough and yet I promise to give you everything.
I will keep trying and failing.
Forever searching for the proper way
to say, to show, to make you hear
how much I want to thank you.
