Hopeless

What Would You Change Scholarship Slam

How could the world be so cold?
Yet we act so naive,
People are out in the streets,
Waiting to be retrieved.
Wishing to end their hunger,
Right then they feel ignored,
Does anybody care anymore?

I'd like to make this bold,
Wouldn't you want to leave?
Life seems like it's all concrete,
There's nothing more to believe.
Times gone on, have to conquer,
You still cannot afford,
What's now is the same as before.

They all want to go back in time,
Don't you know they're sick of
begging?
No shelter to remain living in,
You promise to be forgiving,
Just remember there's someone out there...
Who has it much worse than you.
