Depression strikes like a rock.
Each and every day I feel like going further and further away.
One thought, I’m done.
Another, I will always miss someone.
“Just take it,” they tell me.
Nobody will miss you anyway.
One breath, two.
I see my sister in another room.
Three breathes, Four.
I feel like I can’t do this anymore.
But then I see a light,
One that tells me everything is going to turn out alright,
And I am safe for now.
