Hope deferred ...

Acts 14:17 17 yet He did not leave Himself without a witness by doing good,by giving you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying you with food and your hearts with joy.”  Hope

Hope deferred is colored blue ... my tears paint the uncertain.

Semi-gloss covers my fears ... in hope for the final curtain.

Once my life was painted green ... as spring prepared for blooming

but now all the leaves seem gone ... and gray/brown seem so gloomy.

Are there seasons in my life ... maybe four divided

and when the last season comes ... only with God to survive it?

In the winter of my days ... the young seem to enjoy it

like skiing on the mountain top ... or sleighing to deploy it.

In the book of Job I’ve read ... that God directs the seasons.

Is to die in spring colored green ... and in winter “white” the reason.
