Trapped inside a broken home

  My sould is caught, lost, alone

I hold my breath to swim up stream

The life I've known becomes a dream

Bound and tied, I must be free

  Pride is lost so deep in me

Shameless prayers late at night

Pleading tears to win this fight  

Faith and God within my heart

  Still I slip, I fall apart

Mountains climbed, bare feet, no rope

The summit reached, found thru hope
