Hope

Location

There was never a prettier woman than Hope,

She'd come gallantly along

To pull you from the slums

In which you resided for so long

Take you under her warm arms

And make you forget all of things fowl

But at the slightest ill harm,

Be it cold breeze, lightning strike, or predator's howl

Hope faints

Her warm, cheery skin now pale and icy

Happy eyes now still, and I see

Now that Hope is dead

Only the strongest Men can keep Hope alive

But even they have to strain to try

One can say this Earth is a woeful place

For our beloved Hope is a fragile beauty

Just like most things that are good

So when she comes to pick you up,

Fight. Keep your Hope alive.

Fight for her life, for she saved yours.
