Honored to Fail

Over and over, drilled in my head,

Like a broken record; wish to be dead.

They say it’s for our future, to help to make us smart.

But how is this achieved, if we don’t know where to start?

Such pointless knowledge is thrust upon us.

Why must they think we’ll accept it as just?

This is not a future we want to keep,

Let us find our own cure, or let us sleep.

The system is flawed, and it is time to let it know,

That no matter what happens, quietly we’ll not go.

Our minds have cried for forever a time.

To stand and to fight, the day is sublime.
