Home

Heaven gained an angel,

And a beautiful one at that.

He always had a smile on his face

At the drop of any hat.

He is fishing in the lakes of Heaven

And running touchdowns too.

He lived his life for the Lord

And paid his earthly dues.

Everyone here misses him.

We miss him very much

That's why we have a Heavenly angel

Smiling down on us.

We might ask God "Why him and not me?"

He replies "It was just his time to go.

He lived and loved here on the earth,

But I have called him home."

We miss his smile, his voice, his spirit

That helps us through the day.

Just hold on to the memories,

Until home forever we stay.

This poem is about:
My family
