The Hill

Life can be compared to a ball and a hill,

with a major factor being the strength of your will.

It's easy for a ball to tumble down,

just sit there at the bottom for it to be found.

It takes work to make the ball reach the top,

you gotta keep trying, just never stop.

You get back up on that hill, feeling nothing but honor,

staying at the bottom would have made you a goner.

No matter how tough things may be,

get back up on that hill and realize what you can achieve.

You've made a new standard, one that can no longer lack,

once you’re up there, there's no going back.
