Hey, you, yeah you

Can you please

remind me

where I am?

I must’ve took

a wrong turn

5 years back

that direction

And if you don’t mind

will you do me

a big favor?

I know it’s a lot

to ask of you, but

I’ll pay you back

somehow

I can’t find

the barrier

between the air

and my skin

I don’t know

where it went

I just can’t put

my finger on it

Could you?

(sorry, I don’t mean to be rude)

It’s just that

all I remember

is that there was

this girl

you might know her

she had eyes, a face

and even a mouth

the whole deal

After awhile

we became entangled

in a way

and I couldn't untangle

myself, or that is

I didn’t want to free myself

But anyways

that’s where things

get real fuzzy

I wish I could be back here

even though it was suffocating

I didn’t mind, because

the air was thin up there anyway

and she, well-

and I-

Sorry,

I just-

Umm

what was I saying?

Sorry,

I lost my

train of tho-no

my-

self

that’s right

Can you help me?
