The Hermit of The Heights

The Heights

Sunlight bends at crack in my door trying to sneak a peak into my studio apartment

I hide from the cruel outside beneath these sheets

Skin pale as the moon

And although it's June

I will not let those ultraviolet rays play upon my face

A self-imposed exile

I apologize

These walls are all I need

These walls are all I need
