Here we go again,It's

Here we go again,
It's time to change yourself.
Fake is the new trend.
Everybody's gone insane.

Ten-year-old's are cutting,
Preteens don't wear clothes.
Prostitutes aren't needed,
It's everywhere around us.

Smoke darkened all our oceans,
Alcohol drowned the fish.
Seaweed, people thought,
Was only meant for fish.

Everybody feared December 21st,
The day the world didn't end.
But self-respect and honor,
All went down the drain.

Suicide went up,
People cry each day.
Cyber bullying has got to stop,
They say this everyday.

But no one has the courage,
To stand up for another.
They just watch the scene,
With popcorn in their hands.

Girls send explicit pictures,
Boys don't need to pay.
All they need is a girl,
Who's had a couple drinks.

This is life, they say to me.
That's how it has to be.
There's nothing you can do,
In a world full of fakes.

But life was not like this.
Girls actually wore clothes.
Parents paid attention,
And babies were after marriage.

I'm ashamed to be,
Living in a world like this.
Looking behind your shoulders,
That's not how it's supposed to be.

It only takes one person,
To stand up for themselves.
Have a little self-respect,
For you and your close friends.

If people stood up-to bullies,
And dressed themselves in clothes.
Then maybe our bad world,
Wouldn't be so bad after all.
