Here I Stand, All Alone

Location

Leave me here in my sorrow,

The pain I feel has left me hollow.

No longer are those cheerful nights,

Instead exist such painful fights.

So Here I stand, all alone

Waiting for a ringing phone

Patiently, I await your call

Hoping you won't let me fall.

Your screams still echo through these halls,

Like fury beating on the walls.

Your words have burned deep in my soul,

And left in my heart, this gaping hole.

I pray for strength to see tomorrow

For a hint of joy I'd seek to borrow

To rid myself this endless sorrow.
