Her skin...
It glistened like that little Ray of sunshine, sparkle of light, inexistence of night he wished to see in his dark coma of fear, he wanted her near...
Near his cold hearted soul, he wanted her tender lips
on his cheek that was scarred and coarse, made from the fake smiles he had to hold.
He never wanted for even her tiniest blood vein to have to deal with the thoughts and memories that kept him sane.

He wanted to see her smile but could only do so from a mile.

She turns and sees him stare, followed by the mild grin on her face
