Her Beauty

she swipes left

she swipes right

her beauty wasted on a phone screen light

once the goddess of beauty

shining light on all those who were pure

her talent brought on nothing more

as she spends hours editing

creating the social fashions

"Women are to be plastered"

"Women are to be fake"

"Their clothing made of fragile flakes"

"Insecurity is the new fad"

"Hide your face, never to be seen"

"If it were to be, people would make such a scene"

oh but it wasn't just the women

men were to be strong

in gyms where they belong

pumping themselves of steriods

to get the women to fall

the merciless goddess

typing away

still creating

our society today
