Her Ap'pear(L)'ance
"Mirror, mirror on the wall--
who is the fairest one of all?"
There stands a frail girl,
unhappy about her pearl.
Yes, a pearl,
from an oyster.
So unique in this world,
just as she were.
But there she stands,
cowering in the corner,
like an undefined brand
of an unknown actor.
When will she realize
that she's the only one?
The only one to defy
the wonders of the world.
An oyster opens.
Her mind loosens.
A pearl glistens.
Her face reddens.
She was the only one for her.
No other was truly her.
She was one of a kind,
like a pearl that shined.
