Helpless

HelplessRomans 7:13 13 Did that which is good, then, become death to me? Absolutely not! But sin, so that it would be shown to be sin, produced death in me through what is good, so that through the commandment sin would become utterly sinful.

Sin finds opportunity deep in the commandments

to fully deceive me and that is a simple fact.

I know the law is spiritual almost beyond my grasp.

I am just carnal totally draped in sin at best.

For what I “will” to do, that I do not practice.

What I hate to do, I always do and must agree that the law is good.

It is no longer I who do it but sin that thrives within me.

So sin and I are separated and that must be understood.

I know in my flesh dwells no good although the will is present with me.

To perform what is good I do not find anywhere within me at all

The strength of God is the answer now to my sullen predicament.

Jesus Christ always there to hold and to deliver me from "The Fall".
