Hello, Humanity?Amidst its various

Hello, Humanity?

Amidst its various sizes, colors and uses galore

All of the knowledge it can explore

Becoming an addiction

In a way, a restriction

It is consuming you, I implore!

Until you cannot look away anymore

You say your cell phone is your buddy

Doesn't that sound a little bit nutty?

Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook

Come on people, let's take a look

We neglect to really talk

And even when we go for a walk

What is there but a flock

Of people glued to a phone all around the clock

But does that even come as a shock?

This is all that we seem to do

Although that times are anew

Is it for the better or the worse?

I consider it a curse
