A Heart's Greatest Weapon

They say love is patient, love is kind

Love is silent, love is blind

I say love is open, love is wild

You can't contain it, or disclaim it

Love isn't a negotiation or a contract

It's caring for the other no matter the fact

It's not purely an infatuation, but more of a willingness to put the other before yourself

It touches deep inside when it's right and is greater than any wealth

Love entails respect and honor for the other

It's not to use the other to only smother

It's a fact of life that healthy things remain alive

Therefore, if the love is sick it was never meant to survive
