Heart's Desire.

If it were my choice, I'd have you stay,

keeping you selfishly to myself

with nowhere for you to run away;

So that I may rejoice in your tender kiss

and disapear in your arms, and lose myself in your amiss.

Your company alone could save me,

your presence excludes my life's wistful debris.

If it were up to I, you'd give yourself up comfortably,

with no fears or worries to disturb our peace.

Your aura is one I can't seem to grasp nor cease,

and the other half of my heart is lost away in your sea,

For your waves crash my pity and cleanse my need to flee.

For with you, all I long for is silence,

no words be spoken, we've said it all- our love is timeless.

You're what I've been searching for,

your soul has parts of mine in which I can't ignore.

If it were my way, you'd never go

but love is unselfish, love is sweet.

The aching in my heart from the absence of your company

will always mean little to the desires of you being free.

Go on my other half, if that is your wish

For if you do return, compassion will forever live in my gaze of your bliss
