(poems go here) He didn’t just take one life that night
He took two.

He smothered me with his big arms;
I allowed it.
He took a stab at my heart;
I allowed it.
He bashed my skull so my brain no longer functioned;
I allowed it.

He made me crazy.
I fell in love with him.
Crazy
Stupid
Love

He broke my heart.
Killed me.
Murdered me.
Slain me.

He took two lives that night.
He took the life of whom I was,
And he took the life of who I was going to be.
