We seeked happiness in each other
Selfishly obtaining it for ourselves
Now all thats left is the detritus
The poison in our veins
The hatred to this game

We called it love
Being one and the same
Life was that perfect golden picture frame.
But than, things began to change
Mistakes took place and conquered
The reality of immature incensed pain.

I thought we were more than that
I called you my soul mate
Now nothing but spat venom left to our fights, but heartbreak
Words filled with hatred and unfaithful deception
The misleading falsehood of actions
And extrasensory perception
I never believed from such pure perfection
I'd be left with this bloodless, pulseless, inanimate preconception.
