Heart of Steel (Inspired by the Hunchback of Notre Dame)

The outsider is always me,

as far as friends don't have many.

Don't go to no house parties.

I've never traveled overseas,

not to Paris or Belize.

I'll make the ocean overflow.

I'm stronger than you'll ever know.

Send your empires at me,

you can't hurt me I can't feel.

Crystal, silver, iron and gold,

I know have a heart of steel.

I'm broken but I still feel.

 I can't listen but I hear.

I never speak when it's ideal.

I've faced the darkness all my life.

No evil shall I ever fear.

Send your empires at me,

you can't hurt me I can't feel.

 Crystal, silver, iron and gold,

I know I have a heart of steel.

My story is an uphill fight.

 Only shadows in my sight.

In the darkness is the light.

Once in darkness now I see.

Once in chains but now I'm free.

I stand with me myself and I.

I broke my wings but now can fly.

 Send your empires at me,

you can't hurt me can't feel.

Crystal, silver, iron and gold,

I know I have a heart of steel.
