I am co-dependent

He hides behind I love you

We are not healthy

 

I have never know a healthy relationship

My mother hated my father

My father loved my mother too much to see it

They were not healthy

 

TV cannot provide a healthy relationship

The wife is always passive-aggressive

The husband is never communicative enough

That is not healthy

 

But each relationship strives to be healthy

I'm trying to be more independent

He is trying to open communication

That is healthy

 

My parents realized they'd never be healthy

My mom is happily single

My dad remarried

That is healthy

 

A healthy relationship is not a perfect one

But one where each partner

Wants to make the other happy

That is Healthy

 

I am trying to make my relationship healthy

I want to be better for him

Because I love him

Because that is what a healthy relationship is
